For the A to Z Challenge today, I'm doing something different. Q is one of the harder letters to write something about, along with the other obvious letters of U, V, W, X, and Z. I skipped Y because I have something planned already for that.
But, for these letters, I've decided to write about five new words that I've never heard of before starting with the respective letter.
Quadratura - wall or ceiling painted with arches and columns in strong perspective
Quop - to writhe; to pulsate; to undulate
Quoz - absurd person or thing
Quisle - to betray
Querl - to twist; to curl
Sentences:
That quadratura must have taken several years to create.
Sophie quopped in fear when she saw a spider.
Can you see how Molly dresses? She's so quoz.
Brian quisled his best friend when he chose the opposite team.
The puppy querled up in a ball to fall asleep.
Happy Reading and Keep on Writing!

Nice Q words! I don't really add new words to my writing because then, I'm viewed as a stuff-shirt author and I don't want that. But, it would work in dialogue for a character who loves unusual words! :D

Yea, I don't use new words in my writing either. Just thought that this would be different. Thanks again for visiting my page Elizabeth!
