Niagara Falls

N is for Niagara Falls. This is for the A to Z Challenge. To be honest, I really didn't know what to write about for N, but then I decided to do it on one of my favorite places that I've ever been to.

My family and I vacationed to Niagara Falls in 1999. My brother, for his graduation trip, had wanted to go to the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. We decided to stay on the American side of the Falls and just spend a day in Toronto instead of staying in Canada the whole week. This was before you needed a passport to enter Canada.

Highlight of Niagara Falls/Toronto:
1. Seeing the Falls of course!

2. Cave of the Winds Tour

3. Hockey Hall of Fame

Hope you enjoyed this!
Happy Reading and Keep on Writing!

  1. Hi Megan - good to meet you via the A-Z ... I've never been to the Niagara Falls but have been lucky enough to visit the Victoria Falls .. the Cave of the Wind tour looks pretty wet and amazing .. it's such a powerful force as it comes over the falls isn't it ... the hockey you may keep - but I'm sure I'd be interested in looking!! But it was for your brother .. cheers Hilary

  2. Thanks Hilary! Cave of the Winds was awesome - you're given ponchos so it's not too bad. There is also the Maid of the Mist tour - my dad did when we were there while the rest of us wimped out - and you take a boat and go closer to the falls and if I'm not mistaken, maybe under one. I'm not a hockey fan either - I'm more of a baseball and figure skating fan - but the museum was pretty cool.
