A Book Extravaganza
Classic: David Copperfield by Charles Dickens
Synopsis: It is the story of a young man’s adventures on his journey from an unhappy & impoverished childhood to the discovery of his vocation as a successful novelist. Among the gloriously vivid cast of characters he encounters are his tyrannical stepfather, Mr Murdstone; his formidable aunt, Betsey Trotwood; the eternally humble yet treacherous Uriah Heep; frivolous, enchanting Dora; & the magnificently impecunious Micawber, one of literature’s great comic creations.
Other: Green Eggs and Ham and The Cat in the Hat by Dr, Seuss (I grouped the two together for D since they're both by Dr, Seuss).
The Diary of Anne Frank by Anne Frank

Sadly, I've only read the two by Dr. Seuss. (Hangs head in shame.)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Tamara! A good majority of the classics I'm posting during this month, I haven't read. I'm trying to read a couple classics each year. ~Meg
